School Schedule
- Pre-K Class:
- Children must be at least 4 years of age by September 30th to enter.
- Classes are Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
9:00-11:30 AM or 12:30-3:00 PM
- Enrichment Program (Apple Seeds) Monday, Wednesday, & Friday (Depending on interest level)
11:30 AM - 01:30 PM
- 3 Year Old Class:
- Children must be at least 3 years of age by September 30th to enter
- Classes are Tuesday & Thursday
9:00-11:30 AM or 12:30-3:00 PM
- Enrichment Program (Apple Seeds) Tuesday
11:30 AM - 01:30 PM
Typical Day
- The day is broken into ½ hour time slots, but we are flexible with these times and often extend or shorten them as needed.
- 9:00 - 9:30 Arrival & Manipulative Play Time
- This play time encourages the children to work together.
- 9:30 - 10:00 Circle Time
- Pledge of Allegiance & Song
- Calendar & Weather
- Jobs
- Introduction to the Days Activities
- Free Discussion time
The children learn patience, good listening skills how to raise hands and take turns.
- 10:00 - 10:30 Station Time
- This is dramatic playtime - play is more creative and full of pretending. Teaching assistant works with the children on a craft designed to compliment the theme of the day and to develop fine motor skills. The teacher works with children independently or in small groups on a learning activity.
- 10:30 - 11:00 Snack Time
- Library (If Scheduled)
